Comittment to Excellence

Tyna Williams did a stint in rowing for Hamilton Boys High School, Waikato Region and Rowing New Zealand. Rowing facilitated his respect for excellent craftsmanship, leadership and hardwork that his family passed to him. Soon after rowing Tyna went into a full time position logging and saw-milling with the family and found a focus in forestry. Tyna's first four years in the family business were spent learning the trade and how the industry works. He has since honed his expertise in forestry and now owns and operates Williams Woodlot Services. Tyna is an avid hunter and family man. Here he is pictured with his partner Kerri at the Halberg Awards. She is a world champion and world record holder... A much more accomplished rower than him!
